Sammy’s Sliders will bring its gourmet slider experience to 220 Market View Drive this week.

The restaurant specializes in serving sliders — small hamburgers and other hot sandwiches on a bun — in a modern, casual atmosphere.

“[We’re] elevating the traditional slider with a chef-driven, high-quality menu that distinguishes us from average slider concepts,” Vice President of Marketing Ashley Mitchell told Scope News. “We focus on the quality and have fresh ingredients and bigger patties that are ‘beyond the bun.’ Our guests love that they can get a quality meal that mixes and matches classic sliders, deluxe sliders and hand-breaded chicken tenders.”

Sammy’s also offers fan-favorite ice cream shakes in both traditional and premium flavors like banana pudding, strawberry cheesecake, cookie butter crunch, and more.

This is just the second location for the restaurant; the first opened in Winston-Salem’s Burke Mill Village in July 2023.

“Kernersville is the right place [because] our owners are Triad people,” said Mitchell. “One of our investors is the CEO of East Coast Wings + Grill and we have a location in Kernersville so we know what a great location it is and how amazing the community is.”

This is not a franchise location, but Sammy’s will start franchising in select markets very soon. The restaurant chain plans to extend further across the Triad into Greensboro.

The restaurant will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and until 8:00 p.m. on Sundays. Find more information about Sammy’s Sliders here.
